James Keck: Certified Somatic Sex Educator, Certified Sexological Bodyworker, Cuddlist, Yoga Teacher, Trained Surrogate Partner

Biography, Degrees and Certifications:

After 35 years of serving his country and community in the military and in law enforcement, James Keck made a radical change in professions and began his second act working in the fields of embodied practice and sexological bodywork.

Ten years ago, he discovered Tantra and Taoist practices that changed his life forever. Since then, he has become a Reiki Master, Kundalini and Vinyasa yoga teacher, Tantric Massage Therapist, and trained Surrogate Partner. He became a Certified Sexological Bodyworker (CSB) in 2018 at the first Los Angeles class overseen by Joseph Kramer and then became a Certified Somatic Sex Educator (CSSE) in 2020. A Certified Somatic Sex Educator has additional training and experience gained from teaching, coaching and mentoring new Sexological Bodyworkers entering the profession. He is also a certified professional cuddlist, an intimacy and relationship coach and a consent educator.

James works with individuals, couples and groups by meeting them where they are and then walking the path with them to achieve the change they want to experience in their lives. He employs different modalities so that he can match his somatic approach to the client’s comfort zone.
